07.02.1999 The City of Glendale chooses Lucid Designs to implement on-line payment for their Water and Power Division. Lucid Designs has been selected by the City of Glendale (CA, US) for a two phase web development project. The first of these phases will be to design websites for their Water and Power division as well as for their Business Development divison. Once these sites are launched in their initial form, Lucid Designs will implement an on-line payment system for the Water and Power billing services. This system will allow Glendale residents to pay their water and power bills over the web, using a simple browser based interface. "The integration of the new website with the City's current data systems provides us with an outstanding challenge," said Chris Maier, Creative Director for Lucid Designs. "This new payment system, when fully completed next year, will be a valuable feature for Glendale to offer. On top of the payment system, the new sites will contain a great deal of useful information for the residents." Contruction for these sites is set to begin in the immediate future.
